Closet Analysis

Minimalist and aesthetic is what defines my closet. Buying clothes, for me is never to follow a trend, it’s always what makes me comfortable. Dressing is always about attitude, feeling comfortable and confidence.

Elegance is all that matters whether its ethnic or western. Having an organised and colour-oriented wardrobe is what makes my life easier. Bright and neutral colours are what I usually pay attention on. Flowy/ankle length clothes are what that makes me feel confident, without keeping in mind the trend of tank tops. Brands and comfort are both that I’m really concerned about. But, at times, I believe the fact, you won’t know unless you try a specific style. I feel more confident in formal clothes than informal.

I along with my 2 sisters are very particular about organisation, keeping ethnic wardrobe and western wardrobe separate. When it comes to ethnic, it is all very elegant and we really believe in the fact that buy a garment with such a mind, that it lasts longer and looks as gorgeous as it looks today even after 10 years.

In a world full of body-con dresses, I would always prefer a kurti.

Keeping clothes aside, accessories are given the same amount of attention as clothes. Luxury bags are something I am very fond of, each one of them are organised really well, kept in a dust bag and arranged as per height order. Watches are an important element to your look, they add so much elegance and for me, watches make me more comfortable. Footwear, I mostly prefer shoes, but it depends on occasion as to what is to be worn when. My wardrobe includes everything from sports shoes to sneakers, flats to juttis and heels.

Jewellery, apart from real gold/diamond jewellery, my sister owns a jewellery brand, artificial jewellery is all from her brand. Belts are something that I don’t usually buy much, but, have 2 belts which go with every outfit, whether it’s western or ethnic.
